My Shih Tzu has been a patient over 13 years. I desperately needed her to be seen. This place has gone downhill. 2 days of calling and being told to drive to Vancouver ER. I called around town and was able to get her in to Animal health services. They were so kind and compassionate. Unfortunately, she was put to sleep. Don’t go here people. This place will not help you. Techs call in sick as well as vets. This isn’t how you should operate a business. Why bother to be open at all? You’ve lost my business and trust. I will tell anyone not to go here.

The last 3 times I’ve had to reorder prescriptions for my dog I have explicitly asked them to call My cell phone NOT the house phone and gave the number each time and every time they call the landline instead. It’s just basic and simple instructions that they can’t manage to follow to expedite the situation and so I can get notified as I’ve instructed them to. This and they aren’t open weekends. I put up with VCA but I won’t have another animal after my dog is gone,so I won’t have to deal with the likes of them at all.

The staff is very nice and they do provide good care for your pets when you can get in. Getting actually seen is where the problem is, appointments are too hard to get. I would not recommend using the Care Plan, I feel that the care plan was a rip off, as I prepay for services that I can’t get in to receive.
