Animal Eye Clinic

10 month old bullmastiff needing Entropian surgery both eyes. Dr. Sullivan very thorough, informative and caring. They had my Willow in day after exam for surgery. All staff very professional. Estimate given was just what I paid. No hidden charges. Worth the wait to get in. I would highly recommend. My pup is sooooo much better!

I feel forever thankful for this place & the staff that cared for my dog when she really needed it urgently. They were able to take my dog into triage the day after she was seen by her regular vet. I received a call later & the dr. was so thorough & kind in his explanation of everything & told me my options moving forward with my dog. They were able to operate on her successfully & again, were all so incredibly thorough during discharge about what they had done to her, aftercare & medication instructions. I could not be more grateful. All the people we interacted with here were knowledgeable & wonderful, & could probably tell my family & I were anxious about everything. I really appreciate you all, thank you for taking care of Cleo.

I would give zero stars if that were an option, as my experience was deeply disappointing. I contacted this veterinary practice to schedule a consultation for my dog, hoping to receive professional guidance and quality care. However, I was immediately taken aback when I was quoted $465 solely for the initial consultation — before any diagnostics, treatment, or follow-up care were even discussed. This pricing is, frankly, exorbitant and completely unreasonable for a standard veterinary consult. As a pet owner, I understand that quality veterinary care comes at a cost, and I am fully willing to invest in my dog’s health and well-being. However, there is a significant difference between fair, transparent pricing and what appears to be a blatant exploitation of pet owners who are concerned about their animals. I strongly urge this practice to reconsider its fee structure and adopt pricing that is more equitable and accessible to the community it serves. I would not recommend this clinic to fellow pet owners and will be seeking care elsewhere.

This was one of the most concerning experiences I’ve had with a veterinary clinic. My dog has had surgery at this clinic and has been seen here before. He recently developed what appeared to be an urgent eye issue. I was instructed to use their after-hours emergency service, so I did exactly that. I called four times over four hours. I sent an email with photos, a text with photos, and left multiple voicemails, including one during business hours. No one ever responded. Not once. I was even prepared to take him to the emergency room, but was told they do not have an eye specialist and was advised to contact his eye doctor instead, which is why I relied on this clinic in the first place. What’s especially concerning is that there was still no response once they were open. No return call, no acknowledgment, not even an attempt to get him in for an appointment. This wasn’t just an after-hours issue, there was no follow-up at all. At that point, I was left completely on my own to figure out what to do while my dog’s condition was worsening. Thankfully, my regular veterinarian reviewed the photos and was able to get him in immediately. He was diagnosed with a deep corneal ulcer that required urgent care. We will be following up with another eye clinic moving forward. If I had relied solely on this clinic, my dog would have gone untreated. This also lines up with my earlier visits. The doctor’s bedside manner was poor, the front desk was not welcoming, and I was charged $350 for a brief recheck. When it comes to your pet’s eyesight, you need a clinic that will actually respond when it matters. Based on my experience, I cannot trust this clinic to do that, and I will be going elsewhere going forward.
