I honestly cannot say enough good things about the entire team at Banfield Pet Hospital in Silverdale. From the moment we walk through the door, my kitten is greeted with so much genuine warmth and excitement. You can immediately tell that these people truly care about the animals they take care of and treat every pet like they are their own. Dr. Sluys has been absolutely wonderful. She takes the time to make sure my kitten is doing well and I always feel comfortable knowing he is in good hands. All of the vet techs we have dealt with have also been amazing. They are kind, patient, knowledgeable and genuinely care about his well being. One of the things I appreciate the most is how much the entire team loves my kitten. They recognize him, greet him when we come in and give him so much attention. Of course, he absolutely loves the treats and all the attention he gets. He is always happy to see everyone, which really says a lot about how comfortable they make him feel. The Silverdale Banfield team truly goes above and beyond when it comes to patient care. It does not feel like they are simply doing a job. You can tell they genuinely love what they do and care about every animal that comes through their doors. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Sluys and all of the vet techs and staff for taking such great care of my kitten. I could not ask for a better team to trust with his care. 5 stars without hesitation. My kitten would probably give them 10 stars if that was an option, especially if treats are involved lol.

You may have to use a different Vet if you want to get in quickly, it’s all changed since Covid. The vet I always used to use got Covid really bad and never came back to work But the staff works with you on getting an appointment ASAP. I pay the monthly fee that covers a lot, including all shot and teeth cleaning. I upped the plan since he was 16 years old

Failed to get my records transferred from TX. They were really nice, but ultimately have come back for an appointment next. Hopefully the records will get transferred.

Not to happy with one of the vets here. My dog is 12 years old and I have had her since she was a puppy. I came in a few months ago concerned about keppra and a lump on my dog, when I brought up I’m struggling to give my dog this medication 3 times a day she didn’t say anything she just looked at me in disgust. Didn’t offer a new medication that might work easily for me and my dog and looked at the lump with out doing any testing and told me it was not serious basically. Then when it came time for my dog to get the shot she needed she said she was too nervous and she had to come back another day. I never had a problem until coming to this location with my dog having anxiety at the vet. And I thought well my dog will be okay next time this is just a fluke she is shaking and scared next to me. It happened again the next time she was shaking and scared but they were able to give her the shot she needed. I am confused on how she was too nervous the first day I came in but not the next time. I really enjoyed the first visit at silver dale with a male vet he was super good at his job and I appreciated that and that was why I decided to switch here from tukwila. Tukwila is where I’ll be going for now on to make sure my dog gets the best care.

Amazing staff, they always treat you like family when you walk in.
