Their website said i was signing up for their 'testicle festival' to get my cats fixed, showed my service was free, booked me for the wrong day and charged me for something that was supposed to be free. Beware, I'm sure it was a glitch but it comes off scammy.
We took one of our feral cats in for their walk in neuter slots. Excellent service! Quick check in, very clear instructions, and very affordable. Only $50 for the trap and release neuter, ear tipping, and all the meds ❤️🐱 Seymour the cat did very well.
****If you want this service, make sure you get there at, or before their opening time at 0700. We got there at 0655, already one person in line. Soon after, three people were behind us. Limited slots for the feral cat services***
Buyer beware- you get what you pay for.
I’ve been in rescue my entire 28 years of life, first memories are bottle feeding a trauma kitten with an eye dropper at 4. I’ve had many spays and neuters done and received back many post op cats and dogs.
I have SEVEN resident cats and currently 6 fosters. All of which have been spayed and neutered and all but one came back in the condition you would expect them to be post op. Hell, my 8 week old fosters and their momma just came back from Spokanimal Dorothy Clark center for their surgeries yesterday- they were alert and energetic as if they hadn’t even been through surgery, but mad at me for the trauma, but overall perfectly functioning and playful kittens and momma. Not my Jeffrey Nimbus though.
I took my 4 months old kitten here for a neuter bc spokanimal was full for a month or so and my vets was 4x the price. I’ve never been to a lost cost spay neuter that didn’t perform well, my bad for thinking it would be the same as the east coast- i was VERY WRONG.
Jeffrey, my little GreyLien, was dropped off at 7:45ish AM, after waiting in line for 15 minutes to check in- that’s fine. Picked him up at 5:45 PM, very out of it still. Unusually so actually, and he had a cut up paper plate with some partially eaten wet food on it. When i got him home, he was all pretty much limp. Couldn’t use his arms hardly as all, could barely keep his head up and didn’t have any function of his back limbs.
Concerned, i laid him in my lap and kept an eye on him while chatting with my mom on the phone. Around 7:30pm i noticed he was licking “at his incision “, so i went to stop him and he did it again a few minutes later. That was when i realized he wasn’t licking at the incision, he was licking at his penis bc his bladder was LEAKING urine. I don’t mean a drop here and there, i mean a leaky faucet constant drip drip drip drip drip drip drip. Now very concerned, i picked him up and took him to the litter box, he couldn’t hold himself up at all and didn’t seem to have control of his bladder with me holding himself over the box.
I called Animal Emergency Clinic in the valley as they’d helped my dog out before and i knew they were reliable. They were full, but told me that pet savers had a history of not fully reversing or giving any sedative reversal to their clients pets. I was not the first person calling with the exact same problem. They referred me to CDA emergency vet who told me to get there ASAP due to the leaking bladder. 30 minute drive later and they pull him from my arms the second i walk in to check his vitals.
The tech said he was stable but HEAVILY “sedate” and that he likely was not given any reversal drugs. Due to him being stable, we would have to wait and wait we did. 2.5 hours sitting in the lobby crying and praying for him to wake up and to be okay. My 6.4lbs grey super lovable kitten just half dead looking, but breathing and stable. We finally make it into the room and I’m being asked questions about what sedative he was given, what dosage, what time????
All of which is information i did not receive or have access to at now 10:30/11pm. The receipts and paperwork only told us what his procedure was and the injectable pain medication, nothing else. We had a choice to wait for the drugs to clear fully or just start pumping him with random reversal drugs bc WE DONT KNOW WHAT SEDATIVE HE WAS GIVEN FFS.
Beyond that, the food they gave him THAT HE ATE SOME OF could have caused him to vomit and aspirate to death before i could even get him treatment. I was NOT INFORMED that he would be coming home without a reversal drug administered and NEVER in my life prior to this, at even the cheapest clinic in Florida charging $25 a neuter were the animals not woken tf up.
It’s been a week+ since i got him back and im still pissed about it. Still feel guilty for what he went through and what could have happened. He peed through 2 full sized towels then urinated for 30 full seconds after finally being able to use a litter box on his own. Do NOT bring your pets here.
