I scheduled an exam because my cat has been licking her mouth a lot. Doctor was VERY socially awkward and too timid to check my cat’s mouth. She flip flopped on any clear answers. She didn’t take my cat’s temperature. It was uncomfortable watching how uncomfortable the vet was. Nothing was actually examined or explained and I was handed 2 estimates on my way out the door; one estimate for $1000 and one for $2000. I have no idea why or what the difference is between the 2 estimates or what it will actually cost to address my cat’s issue. I still don’t even know what’s wrong, I basically got the same info I found on google before this appointment. I left feeling extremely frustrated. Neither the doctor or reception explained the estimates. Also, the fact that my cat might be in pain in the meantime was never brought up or addressed. Update: mountainview’s response was pretty impotent. I found a clinic in maple valley (animal surgical and dental clinic) that only charges $750 for a cleaning with exam and cleaning scheduled on the same day so everything is efficient, affordable and clear.

Took my senior GSD in & received the worse news possible. Just wanted to say every single person I dealt with was compassionate & understanding.

I love my buddy Shemitah to death! She’s been my ride or die home girl since 2014 and I can honestly say that I have never had a better experience with a vets office than with Mountain View, from start to finish the entire team were excellent and exceeded expectations! The doctor was such a kind warm and caring person and a stellar professional who was honest, fair and generous with her time. I know that no place is perfect but for anyone who loves their pets like family and wants to be confident about them being entreated by staff as you yourself would do…I whole heartedly endorse this vets office. There’s a reason why they’re still here after 30 years and they have such strong reviews. Being a vet is a hard job and can be heartbreaking…the disposition of their staff is a testament of their love and kindness to the animals they serve. A+++
