I would give a hundred stars if I could. My sweet cat’s front paw was hurt this morning and we were able to walk in and get seen immediately (thankfully we got there at what seemed to be a slower time). I was extremely upset that my baby Muffin was injured and they were so calm and patient with me as I tried to explain what happened between sobs. The entire staff was so gentle and kind from the second we walked in to the second we left. They were so gentle that Muffin even let them pick him up and hold him. He haaates being picked up! He let them with no issue or side eye. We paid out of pocket because we don’t have vet insurance and they were very up front with the cost. I didn’t feel blindsided or caught off guard, just informed and cared for. I will always go back here for any of my pets from today forth. You can’t convince me there is a better place and staff.

The staff are awesome, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for our appt. I was visiting from out of state and my daughter looked the office up for me. Due to their open pricing online and reviews, we booked an appointment. Everyone is friendly, very knowledgeable and they do not push anything you do not want. My experience they searched for less expensive medication options without compromising my pets health. This will now be my go to vet visiting Maple Valley. 9/8/2026 I visited the office twice during my time in washington. I had a short return home to Maryland and during that time I was able to reach back out to the office for a prescription refill. Upon returning to Washington, my son in-laws dogʻ became ill and I highly recommended him to call Wildeness. He was also very happy with their professionalism and compassion while careing for his baby. My daughter is now looking into switching to Wilderness from her current Vet also.

Mills, you knew i didnt want my baby to suffer. Ralphie’s vet was compassionate and honest with the owner, what a wonderful vet. And what a peaceful death. The compassionate thing to do once you saw it extending down his airway wouldve been to stop and notify me. I TOLD you i didnt want my dog to suffer. And you hacked him up anyway for the roughly 1500. You function like the HCA of the animal world. My baby suffered excruciating pain, you falsified documentation in regards to my concerns over gabapentin and failed to provide adequate pain control until days post op as a result. People of Washington, record your conversations with it. You are a horrible person for hacking my sweet boy up after you got in there and saw how bad things were. Strange how you high tailed it to washington within weeks of being notified of my complaint. Why run if you have nothing to hide? Several other vets also left the practice so something definitely went down. One thing you cant run from is karma, it will find you. Ash Mills is not compassionate like Ralphie’s vet, it cares about profit not living beings. People of Washington, you are warned.
