Really happy with the service RKAH provides. We needed an international travel certificate for our dog, they made the process super easy and coordinated with everyone that we used for our travel.

Emotionally unintelligent employees staffing the front desk. Actually, they know exactly what they are doing. They will interrupt innocent questions, nod their heads aggressively, and flail their arms around in order for you to leave. I understand they may be overwhelmed, but trust me, the tone and body language is quite honestly unhinged and inexcusable. It feels like expecting people who are having a mental health crisis to give a crap about you…yet it is their literal job to at least pretend well enough. These are not people who should be working in animal healthcare. Not only do they not work well under whatever pressure they are experiencing behind their desks, but they exhibit an alarming lack of empathy for grieving owners. They really need more training, though I don’t know if you can really train somebody to have an impulse to be kind to others in moments of vulnerability.

We have been taking our dog to Redmond Kirkland Animal Hospital ever since we got her 10 years ago. They are always fantastic to work with but today went above and beyond. I had called in this morning to see if there were any appointments open because our dog seemed to be injured. They didn’t have any for today so we scheduled one for Sunday morning. About an hour later I got a call back saying that they had an unexpected opening in an hour and would we like to take it - yes please! I was so impressed that they thought to reach back out and offer us that appointment knowing that our dog was hurting. I hadn’t been asked to be put on a cancellation list or anything. They just took their own initiative to reach out and that is so appreciated! And honestly pretty rare at most places these days. We were able to go in and get some medication and advice to hopefully get our pup feeling back to 100% very soon!
