Crestwood Animal Hospital

Dr Norstrem and staff are amazing and very patient

The Dr is great and the staff is kind and professional. They all take a pride in their jobs and treat your pet(s) like family.

Vet is good, but techs are horrible people. Tbey seem to like it. Unfortunately, the techs are the bosses there.

My nearly 15-year-old dachshund needed a dental cleaning, and after receiving estimates from two other veterinary clinics ranging from $2,000–$4,000, I was referred to Crestwood Animal Hospital. During the pre-surgical appointment, I was immediately impressed by how thorough the team was. I was given detailed paperwork outlining the physical examination findings, and the veterinarian asked extremely comprehensive questions about Bella’s health history. We were also prescribed antibiotics to start three days prior to surgery, which had never been recommended to us before. On the morning of the dental procedure, the doctor personally called to review Bella’s bloodwork results and reassure us that although her kidney function tests were slightly elevated, they still felt the surgery could be performed safely. While they did find an infection, Bella only needed two teeth extracted. We were sent home with a clear report of the findings, detailed home care instructions, and even guidance on how and when to remove the bandage from her IV catheter site to allow time for healing and prevent licking. Having gone through many veterinary experiences over the long lives of both of my dogs — Bison, who lived to be 15 years old, and Bella, whom we adopted a year later — I can confidently say that Crestwood Animal Hospital was outstanding. I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone looking for compassionate, thorough, and attentive care for their beloved pets.
