Companion Vet Clinic

Expensive and adding unnecessary extra things to charge you for. I’m in the medical field and I understand what tests are needed and what isn’t. I’ve been going there for 10 years. Finally I had to change to a different vet.

My cat is Milly and yes has been seen here I have photos of her there. If I could give 0 stars I would. My 17yo cat is in the hospital with serious end of life concerns and I called to get her records sent to them. Followed up 4 hours later and they told me their policy is 24-48 hours for records to be sent over however the place my cat is now being seen at called them twice leaving detailed voicemails to get the records weeks ago, and they still had not hence me calling them today from my cat having a medical emergency that her records are important. Not to mention I’ve had many other issues with the way they operate, like being told to research what food to give her for kidney disease/failure they diagnosed from bloodwork, not clear about how to obtain the special food, was telling me they would not release the prescription without doing a urine analysis by poking her bladder with a needle— I fought them on that and they back peddled and finally told me how to obtain the food.

Don't bother!!! They didn't care at all. Didn't give me any discharge info on caring for my cat when she left. (I had to call when I got home) Was trying to charge $400 for tests that wouldn't come back for FOUR DAYS!!! They pretty much shrugged and said, IDK what's wrong with her, slim chance it's poison. But we hydrated her. She hadn't eaten or had water in FOUR DAYS when I brought her in. She growled at food and water and drooled continuously. Then I had to call to get her blood test results FOUR days after they drew it. The receptionist said, the Dr usually calls you about the results on Wednesday morning when he gets in.... mind you, I brought her in on a Thursday morning. Luckily, I saw another vet after calling to get her test results and they got the wood sliver out of her gums, that this vet claimed he saw no evidence of. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS "vet"

LOVE IT HERE!! Super nice people that actually care about pets’ comfort and wellbeing as well as their health. They were able to schedule a same-day broken tooth removal and did a great job with our cat. Extremely understanding with low budgets and cut a lot of unnecessary procedures to fit our needs that other vets required. Will definitely be coming back for any future procedures our cat needs to have done!

Me and my parents have been going to this vet since we got our first dog Chip, we have always loved going here and have been loyal to this vet clinic for 16+ years. When i got my first own dog i of course decided to bring him here because Ive always remembered my childhood pets coming to this vet. It’s always been a good experience so i thought it would be best for my dog. My dog ended up with a slipped disc and was paralyzed by the age of 1 year old. I took him to get his shots and a nail clipping. After his nail clipping when he came out his eyes where blood shot i know (some dogs) , including mine are scared by getting their nails clipped. But when he came out he was so scared not because of the nail clipping but because he had a leash around his neck which i had told the assistant he was scared of things being around his neck. She dragged him out of the back on a leash she had put around his neck and i don’t use the word dragged lightly she had genuinely dragged him while he was yelping and crying. I said what are you doing? And went to him behind the door and he layed on my legs shaking he was absolutely shaking and scared. By the way he weighs 16 pounds there is no reason they couldn’t have handed him to me or had me give them a harness for him to put the leash on or some way to not put him into insane stress. I have never in my time of having him seen him that scared and stressed. He’s gotten his nails clipped at a different vet and he’s never reacted that way nor had blood shot eyes from crying. I am so disappointed and upset by the way he was treated that day. I feel that even an assistant vet should know that a dog with a slipped disc who has been paralyzed before should never have tension on their spine, so to see him being DRAGGED by his neck with a leash is absolutely disgusting. I pulled his paper work today from the vet and me and my parents will NEVER come back here. I regret and my parents regret being loyal to this place after this. I have waited months to write this review to have time to calm down about this situation but i soon realized i’ll never feel calm about what happened and i’ll never put my baby in that situation ever again at this clinic. I have so much appreciation for small businesses, but the fact that there was two women there and a man and nobody said something about him being dragged out of the back room expect for me especially while knowing not only what i said but also his recoreds of him being paralyzed is absolutely disturbing.
